Construction Managers at Shaddock Caldwell enjoy a competitive base salary with a generous bonus structure that rewards accurate, timely and well finished projects. ($100k+ potential) While having the opportunity to work on exciting custom homes with values typically ranging from $1MM to $4MM. Our Construction Managers are able to build better homes with greater speed and accuracy due to excellent documentation of the defined scope of work prior to construction with minimal scope changes allowed after construction begins. We also work with our Construction Managers to ensure a balanced project work load. All of this within a small, family oriented workplace.

Hours
Full Time – 40 to 50 hours per week.

Job Duties
– Manage scope of work to ensure timely, accurate and quality completion of projects
– Schedule and supervise daily trade partner activities
– Conduct customer progress walks to ensure adherence to the agreed scope
– Review and approve vendor invoices weekly

Qualifications & Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced custom home builder who is process oriented, thorough and accurate with a natural sense of urgency while performing their job duties in a well-organized and deliberate manner. The ideal candidate must be forward looking with the ability to quickly adapt within a small entrepreneurial business. Must possess a strong ethical compass, positive attitude and high attention to detail.   Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years experience as a construction manager.  Custom home building experience and a construction science degree are preferred.  Candidates must also be comfortable using technology adopted by Shaddock Caldwell such as Co-Construct, DropBox and the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
